Arvada's Allendale neighborhood is a popular Colorado community containing many reasonably priced single-family homes mostly built during the 1960s and 1970s. The subdivision derives its name from William Allen, a Canadian, who came to Colorado in 1859 to establish a 320 acre farm which was later developed into several residential neighborhoods including Allendale.
Most of the home models in Allendale range from 2000 to 3000 finished square feet, and contain 3 to 5 bedrooms and 2 to 3 bathrooms. Many of the homes sit on spacious lots and are brimming with extras on the interior. It's not uncommon to find homes in Allendale with finished basements, hardwood floors, gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and covered patios.
Allendale's convenient location allows easy access to I-70 and many key amenities. With several parks, shopping centers, and excellent schools located just minutes away, Allendale is a fun and friendly location for families of all sizes. Allendale Park, a 4.5-acre park featuring soccer fields, picnic tables, and a playground, provides families with a place for recreation and relaxation.
