The city of Littleton accommodates a great variety of public high
schools, all of which aim to provide a safe and fun learning
environment that is conductive to the development of academic
excellence, and the tools necessary to succeed in college and the real
world. Rock Canyon High School and Arapahoe High School, for
instance, are rated “Excellent” by the Colorado
Department of Education for their overall academic performance, and in
2006-2007, each won a John Irwin School of Excellence award.
